Hidden jem off off Bourbon Street in New Orleans. This ranked in my top 3 restaurants of all time. Service by Heath and Erica was excellent as we perused the menu. We could have ordered everything. The caviar presentation with the dry ice was excellent. The stuffed quail was delicate with great flavor. The elk was flavourful and cooked perfectly. Scallops we added to our dish, were seared and excellent. With our choices being as good as they were, I can not imagine that everything tastes amazing on the menu. Reservations are recommended. Prices are higher but well worth it. We will certainly come back again on our next visit.
Restaurant R'evolution truly lives up to its name with its revolutionary take on traditional New Orleans cuisine. Despite a less than stellar first impression with a rude hostess assistant (Willie), our servers Isaac and Trevor more than made up for it with their exceptional service. They were attentive, engaging, and extremely professional throughout our entire dining experience. The food at Restaurant R'evolution was absolutely outstanding. The portion sizes were perfect and the flavors were delightful. We started with the oysters and tartar appetizers, both of which were impeccable. For our mains, we enjoyed the redfish, tuna, and duck dishes, each one bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. Overall, our dining experience at Restaurant R'evolution was top-notch. The combination of excellent service and exceptional food definitely earns this restaurant a solid five stars. We will definitely be back to indulge in more of their delectable dishes.
Went to dinner with my colleague while we were in town on business after receiving a recommendation from a client. Very pleased we took up the recommendation to try this establishment! The spiced apple old fashioned drink I had was tasty. Our meal was delicious. The atmosphere allowed for us to easily talk without overpowering music overhead. Service was friendly and attentive. As with a more upscale place, the pricing was a bit on the higher end but not outrageous for what it delivered. We would return again given the opportunity!
Revolution has great reviews and more than lived up to them. We sat at the bar with Cory who is a complete rockstar bartender. His recommendations were awesome! BEST GUMBO in New Orleans! Caviar Pave potatoes are a must as well. Newsome’s ham and the rabbit dish are next level.
From the warm greeting at the door to the final farewell when I left, the people that make up Restaurant R'evolution took care of my absolute every need and served up a delicious, unforgettable meal with kindness, professionalism and style. To cross off one last dish on my New Orleans checklist, I ordered Death by Gumbo, paired with their Sangiovese by the glass. Before I could savor the succulent quail, swimming in the richest, darkest roux, I was offered a beautiful, "amusing" bouce and some truly outstanding biscuits, bread and butters that could have made a meal for me all their own. Jeff and Dashaun were so accommodating and generous with my service, taken at the chef's table in full view of the kitchen, where K'neesia (apologies, for any spelling errors) did the work of four, quietly and amazingly doing so much important work to keep orders flowing smoothly to their guests. The gumbo was incredible, filling, and luxurious and satisfied my craving completely, living up to its reputation. While I narrowly missed my desired choice for dessert, the sorbet and praline I was served were an exquisite end to my experience. If ever I am in the French Quarter again, I think I'll not leave without dining here again.
Came here for dinner while in the area. I had heard about their famous Death by Gumbo dish. When the time came I was excited! The service is excellent! Our waiter was very enthusiastic and outgoing, while at the same time being well composed. There were also additional waiters and waitresses that served us, who also did well. It starts with the bread, biscuit and trio of butters. The butters are so pretty, they're like little flowers! My favorite was the Cajun spiced butter, yum! And all of them were so creamy! They then gave us this fruit cracker thing, I forgot what it's called But that was good too! We got three appetizers: Oysters, beef tartare and blue crab beignets. Everything was wonderful! The beef tartare definitely won the presentation competition of the three, it's stunning! And the blue crab beignets are just plain amazing! The time had come: The death by Gumbo! Watching them pour out the broth Is so satisfying! I took my first bite: It is delicious! Wonderful flavorful, and the quail is perfectly cooked! Nice and juicy with so dryness whatsoever, And it was perfectly seasoned. It was also very satisfying cutting open the quail to reveal the rice, sausage and oysters. That's cutting edge (No pun intended). For dessert I got the panna Cotta. It had a creamy texture with a nice citrusy flavor, therefore refreshing. It also is relatively light, maybe for a good way to finish this awesome meal!
Have been multiple holidays in a row and came tonight to celebrate mine and my girlfriends grad school graduation. DeShawn, Rory, and Evan are easily some of the best servers I have ever had. Fun, polite, and very professional. Highly recommend requesting any of them. Food is superb and decadent. Crab cakes, lobster, lamb chops; nothing short of fabulous. Have always enjoyed the food and service, would strongly recommend.
Went here during my stay for my bachelorette trip! It was gorgeous in there! We ate in a wine room and the privacy was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing! The steak melted in my mouth! The service was EXCEPTIONAL! Travis was our waiter and he was amazing! He was hilarious and he went above and beyond! I 10/10 recommend going here! I can’t wait to come back during my next stay!!
